The Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) is an internationally recognized certification exam that assesses and certifies the Japanese language proficiency of non-native speakers. Established in 1984, it is the most popular test for evaluating Japanese skills and is often a requirement for education, employment, and visa purposes in Japan.
1. Levels of JLPT
The JLPT has five levels: N1, N2, N3, N4, and N5, with N5 being the easiest and N1 the most advanced. Each level tests the candidate’s skills in three key areas:
• Language Knowledge (Vocabulary and Grammar)
• Reading Comprehension
• Listening Comprehension
JLPT N5 TEST: This is the beginner level and easiest level in Japanese Language. This course will focus on the Japanese Language proficiency test JLPT N5 TEST which covers basic elementary grammar, about 120 Kanji and 800 vocabulary. With this level, students would be able to read and write basis Japanese like Hiragana/ Katakana/ and basic kanji. During this course; one will be able to listen and comprehend conversations about the topic.

Pass Marks: 80/180 Generally
JLPT N4 TEST: This is an upper basic level course we provide. This course is for those who have already passed the JLPT N5 / or NAT –5Q level or who have already spent more than 150 hours of continuous Japanese learning. This course will focus on the Japanese Language Proficiency Test JLPT – N4 TEST which covers advanced elementary grammar, about 320 Kanji, including N5 Kanji and 2000 vocabularies. With this level, students would be able to communicate and share ideas in general, and they would also become able to read and understand passages on familiar daily topics written with basic vocabulary and Kanji.

JLPT N3 TEST: This is an intermediate-level Japanese language course. This course is for those who have already passed the JLPT N4 / or NAT –4Q level and will apply for a student visa. This course focuses on the Japanese Language Proficiency test JLPT – N3 TEST which covers the Intermediate level grammar, about 650 Kanji, including N4 Kanji, and 4000 vocabulary including N5 and N4. With this level, students would be able to communicate fluently and share everyday situations to a certain degree. One becomes able to read and understand written materials with specific contents concerning everyday topics. He/ she also becomes able to grasp summary information such as newspaper headlines or read slightly difficult writings encountered in everyday life. The student would also be able to listen and comprehend coherent conversations in everyday situations, speak at near-natural speed, and be generally able to follow their contents as well as grasp the relationships among the people involved.
